We are flexible in delivering as much or as little of the services needed to meet your requirements. Our expertise is in interior architectural design, furnishings and project management. The following are typical services that deMoor designs provides:

Interior Architectural Design

Investigation of Existing Conditions

• Review the information provided by you, site measurements & conditions, research code requirements.

Preliminary Design Concepts

• Based upon interviews with you, we prepare preliminary sketches.
• We work with you to make sure we are on the right track with your vision and any other considerations.

Design Development

• The design team begins to create and formalize the design ideas for the project. Design iterations will be presented to you for discussion and input. This includes space planning, fixture and cabinet placement and lighting programs along with architectural detail.
• Submittals to the City or County Planning Department are also part of this phase. At completion of this phase, the client will be asked to approve the design for production of construction drawings.

Construction Documents

• In this phase we produce plans, elevations, details and specifications which are required in order to get a building permit and bids from contractors.
• We also begin to work on finishing detail such as lighting and plumbing fixtures, trim detail, tile and stonework, floor choices, stains and paint colors.
• We will present the drawings to the building and planning department or the architectural review board if necessary.

Procurement

• deMoor designs can purchase & expedite products, finishing material and furnishings for your project.

Project Management

• deMoor designs can manage the project for you.
• This includes the selection and assembly of a turnkey design build team.
• We are especially valuable for clients that are very busy and not looking to be the point person for daily design and construction issues. We coordinate site visits and meetings amongst the designers, engineers and contractors. We select finishing work for your approval and we can help manage the timeline and budget. We are the lead for issues as they arise.
